This group of talented singers gave us an evening concert of songs from West End and Broadway shows including songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Calamity Jane, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Merry Widow, The Sound of Music and Whistle Down the Wind.
Since it was formed in 1992, the group has grown from strength to strength and performed in numerous churches and concert venues around the counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire and has raised over £50,000 for charities including the Derby Royal Infirmary, The Air Ambulance Appeal, The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Appeal, Leukaemia Research and Cancer Research UK.
This concert also raised funds for the local branch of the St Vincent de Paul Society to enable them to carry on helping needy, infirm and lonely people in Beeston.
